On this website you will find the pictures of birds I encountered during my travels.
Additional information, like their names (English and Latin) and the location is given, when available.
They are taken with a normal camera while doing excursions and walks
and not by long and careful stake-outs with telelens-cameras
That is sometimes rather obvious.
But my only intention is to share my love for these wonderful creatures.

On this website you will find the pictures of World Heritage sites I took during my travels all over the world.
There are at the moment 364 pictures of 297 sites I visited.
The numbers may expand with new destinations and/or new appointed sites (of which I already have pictures)
They are sorted on their World Heritage id number and have a description and a location-map attached.
You may well observe that the pictures are taken with normal cameras, by a tourist who is interested, but not a professional photographer.
Still I hope that you will enjoy the wonderful cultural and natural wonders of our planet.
